Intracoastal Christmas Regatta

Celebrate the annual Intracoastal Christmas Regatta, a local tradition that takes place the Saturday after Thanksgiving. This year’s Regatta falls on November 26. Starting at the Little River Inlet, watch boats lit up as different themes in spectacular colors travel south, arriving at Dock Holidays Marina at 7PM. Gather the family and line up along the various viewing areas between point A and point B. Consider donating a toy to Harbour Gate Marina after the parade to help make sure no Horry County child is without a present this holiday season.
North Myrtle Beach Christmas Parade

The Annual Christmas Parade continues its tradition for North Myrtle Beach residents and visitors. Come out December 3rd as Main Street fills with holiday songs, magnificent floats, marching bands and more. The parade route will travel down Main Street to Ocean Boulevard and will disperse on 2nd Ave North. Find a cozy spot along Main Street to camp out and watch as this spectacular parade rings in the holiday.
Lighting of the Landing

Bring the kids out to see Santa, visit the giant 22 ft. Christmas tree, and see the wonder of the holiday spirit. Experience a spectacular fireworks performance at 7PM. Participate in caroling and even visit the petting zoo! Your favorite holiday characters will be available to visit, and Greg Rowles from The Alabama Theatre will serve as this year’s emcee.

Ripley’s Aquarium celebrates the season with the Festival of Trees, featuring beautifully decorated and themed Christmas trees. One tree exists for each of the fifty states, from a Las Vegas-style tree with a feather headdress to a Mardi Gras tree with masks and beads. The South Carolina tree is over 18 feet tall and decorated with ornaments appropriate to our state, such as golf balls, magnolias, and seashells, as well as Clemson and USC representation. Kids will enjoy the free scavenger hunt that tests their knowledge about each state’s tree.
Holiday Bonfires at La Belle Amie Vineyard

Celebrate the holiday season at La Belle Amie Vineyard in Little River with an afternoon of spirts and music. Bring a portable chair and enjoy one of their many holiday events, such as the Yuletide Music and Bonfire or the New Year Bonfire, or relax outdoors under the cabana, pavilion, or on the decks or porches. Wine, beer, sodas, water and juices will be available under the Pavilion. Events are from 12-5PM, and admission is $5.
