One of Myrtle Beach’s longest running festivals is coming up next weekend: the 60th annual Sun Fun Festival kicks off June 3.
The convertible car show is one of the events new to the three-day festival.  For a registration fee of  $30, you can have your car judged for cash and other prizes.  At least 80% of the registration proceeds will go to the Make-A-Wish Foundation of South Carolina. The deadline is June 1.
There will also be a meet and greet with Sophie and Katherine, the sisters behind the hit TV show “DC Cupcakes.” While you’re there, check out the cupcake convertible the pair constructed for the event.
Sun Fun will feature the usual festival fare as well: live music, food vendors, arts and crafts exhibitors and fireworks.
