Shark Wake Park is an exciting cable wakeboard experience located in the North Myrtle Beach Park and Sports Complex. Cable wakeboarding is a water sport where riders are pulled by a high-tech pulley system with no need for a boat. The park is open to all levels; whether you have been wakeboarding for several years or this is your first try, the park is designed to suit everyone. The park contains a 5-tower, full-size cable, and 2-tower cable system.

If you are new to wakeboarding, and would prefer to try during a time set aside for beginners, the cable is run at beginner speed on Saturdays and Sundays from 10AM-12PM. If you are not a beginner, be aware that the cable will run slower during these times. Trained staff is available to help you get up on your wakeboard for the first time, or you can get one-on-one lessons from a staff coach.

Wakeboarding options start at $34. There is no cost to enter the park, so those wishing to watch family or friends can come and cheer for free, or enjoy a cold Sweetwater beer at The Shark Shack, located on a large deck overlooking the entire lake.

Aqua Park

Interested in even more fun on the water? Shark Wake Park has also opened an inflatable, floating Aqua Park! Covering an acre of water, this newest thrill in North Myrtle Beach can hold up to 120 people per hour. The enormous floating playground / obstacle course includes several inflatable slides, jumping pillows, runways, and bouncers. All connected and floating together in the lake, the park has swings, ladders, ramps, trampolines, bridges, slides, and more!

Meet The Crew

Founder and CEO Greg Norman, Jr. grew up with a passion for watersports, spending 15 years traveling the world as a professional kiteboarder and wakeboarder. Once he graduated from the University of Miami with a degree in Business Management, he then joined his father, Hall of Fame golfer Greg Norman, on the Business Development team at Great White Shark Enterprises. Greg decided to combine his knowledge of business with his expertise in watersports to open Shark Wake Park.

CEO and General Manager Jeff Trudeau has managed four different wake parks across the country. Adam Errington (Easy E), in charge of Operations, is one of the most prolific professional wakeboarders in the U.S. His accolades include the 2007 Pro Wakeboard Tour Rookie of the Year, 2009 U.S. National Champion, 2011 Wake Stock Champion and 2012 BroStock Champion among many others. He also holds the Guinness World Record for longest time riding a cable in 24 hours by a team, was the first person to land a double Scarecrow, and was a cast member on MTV’s Wake Brothers.
