Summer is here and it’s time to heat things up again with the 2015 “Hot Summer Nights” entertainment program! This free nightly event takes place on the famous Myrtle Beach Boardwalk, starting in June and running through the end of August.
Kick off each week with the Boardwalk Kids Carnival. This favorite family event features kids bands, inflatables, face painting, caricature artist, games, stilt walking balloon artist and more. The Boardwalk Kids Carnival takes place every Monday, June 8th through August 24th, from 7 to 10PM, and is sponsored by Oceanfront Bar and Grill. Just another reason Myrtle Beach Is One Of The Best Kid-Friendly Destinations in the USA!
If you love live music, you can enjoy the hottest live bands at the “I Love Sugar” oceanfront stage in Plyler Park. This free concert series includes local and regional rock bands, country, jazz, pop, reggae, Funk and more, and is happening every Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday, June 9th through August 29th, from 8 to 11PM.
On Wednesdays, check out the biggest and best oceanfront fireworks show, from June 10th to August 19th, at 10PM. Head down to the boardwalk early to hear live music at the Oceanfront Bar and Grill from 6 to 9PM.
Of course Hot Summer Nights would not be quite as hot without a huge 4th of July celebration! The gigantic fireworks display will take the place of the Wednesday, July 1st show, and is a must-see! There will also be a special fireworks display on Labor Day weekend. This will be the last bang of the season, and will take place on Saturday, September 5th.
Here are some more reasons the Myrtle Beach area is the hottest place to be this summer!
