Today is the farmers market’s opening day! Purchase fresh fruits, vegetables and other local products on Tuesdays and Fridays from 10 a.m.−6 p.m. at 1st Avenue South between the new North Myrtle Beach Library and City Hall.
From the opening day press release:
Two new metal-roofed, open-air shelters and a restroom have been added to the market this year. The structures will enable market vendors to continue to sell their products when it rains, and they will also offer shelter from the summer sun.
The North Myrtle Beach Farmers Market is part of the Waccamaw Market Cooperative, which supports certified South Carolina grown products.
