Broadway at the Beach is also home to Ripley’s Aquarium, Carmike Cinema, and other attractions for affordable fun during the colder months.

Franklin G. Burroughs – Simeon B. Chapin Art Museum
Considered The Grand Strand’s home for contemporary visual art, the Franklin G. Burroughs – Simeon B. Chapin Art Museum has exhibited works from some of America’s foremost names in the world of art, including those of John James Audubon, Ansel Adams, and Jasper Johns. Shelling at the State Park: Find amazing and unique shells and shark teeth at Myrtle Beach State Park while enjoying the wide beach and natural trails. Pack a picnic lunch and visit the fishing pier for a $5 per person park admission fee or less. The State Park also offers free children’s programs throughout the year.
Brookgreen Gardens: Brookgreen Gardens offers guided tours and exhibits for all ages. Walk the Lowcountry Trail and experience some of the area’s history; then visit the Zoo to see native animals in their natural habitats. With beautiful gardens, rich historical sites, animals and a world-renowned sculpture collection, admission is good for seven consecutive days. Prices range from $14 for adults, $12 for seniors 65 and over, and only $7 for kids 6 to 12 years old. Admission is free for ages 3 and under with a paid adult. Brookgreen Gardens is located in Murrells Inlet, just a short drive from Myrtle Beach.
Murrells Inlet MarshWalk: Visit the historic fishing village of Murrells Inlet at the MarshWalk and experience nature with great views of the saltwater marsh, birds, and beautiful scenery. Home to many waterfront restaurants, music is in the air once evening rolls around. The MarshWalk is free to enjoy.
Carolina Wine Country
La Belle Amie Vineyard in Little River is an operating vineyard open to the public, and just a short jaunt from the Myrtle Beach area. The Vineyard hosts many popular festivals throughout the year.
