Summer Sight and Sounds at Brookgreen Gardens

Brookgreen Art Festival

June 1-2, 2019

9:30AM-4:30PM

This annual two-day event kicks off the summer season at the gardens. The Brookgreen Art Festival provides and opportunity for visitors to talk with local artists and authors, and it showcases the fine art and craftsmanship being produced regionally and throughout the nation. There will be media demonstrations by the featured artists on display, and works will be available for purchase. For a list of booths and artists attending, click here. An Art Walk through the Brookgreen Labrinth will also be held on Saturday, June 1 from 1:30-2PM.


Summer Solstice Walk

June 21, 2019

11AM-12:30PM

If you miss the Art Walk on June 1, you’ll have another opportunity to welcome summer with a group labyrinth walk on June 21. The sun will reach its highest position of the year and share its light as guests walk through the beautiful, natural setting together.


Emerging Stars in American Sculpture and Six Masters

Now through July 28, 2018

Emerging Stars in American Sculpture can be seen in the garden’s Noble Gallery and features select works from sculptors that have participated in National Sculpture Society Modeling Competitions. Additional works can be seen in the Jenniwein Gallery, including the Six Masters exhibit showcasing works by Sculptors in Residence of the Gardens from 2017-2019.


Brookgreen Summer Music Festival

Every Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday

June 19-August 10

7PM-9PM

Bring a chair, grab a spot on the Azalea Concert Field, and enjoy live music under the oaks at the Brookgreen Summer Music Festival. Evening concerts will be held Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday nights this summer from 7-9PM. The lineup includes regional favorites like Tru Sol, The Sea Cruz band, The Paul Grimshaw Band, and The Fourclosures. Click here for the full schedule.
