9 a.m. until 5 p.m Monday through Thursday. 9 a.m. until 3 p.m. on Friday. 9 a.m. until 3 p.m. on Saturday from May -September. Hours extended during peak season. Memorial Day through Labor Day and during special event weekends or by prearranged appointment. CLOSED ALL MAJOR NATIONAL HOLIDAYS.
Guest Check In
4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. CHECK OUT: 10 a.m. Key pick up and drop off is at the office location stated above. Early check in: 12:30 p.m. for a fee of $125.00 to cover housekeeping and administration expenses. This needs to be requested in advanced and paid in full. Late arrival: For after hours arrival, balance must be paid in full and rental agreement signed. A credit card needs to be on file in order to release the key to the guest. Please call the office for instructions of key retrieval after hours.
Upon arrival, please check your unit thoroughly. Every effort is made to see that your unit is cleaned and undamaged before your arrival. If this is not the case, please report any discrepancies immediately to our office to insure that the problem is resolved and that you will not be held responsible.
Late check out: Check out time is 10:00a.m. There is a $50.00 per hour late check out fee until 12:00 p.m. After 12:00 p.m. a day’s rent will be charged at the advertised rate. Our Housekeeping Department needs to clean our units for the arrival of the next guest. Please call us if there are any issues on departure day.
Rental days during peak season (June, July, August) for vacation rental homes and condominiums are for a minimum weekly stay which is Saturday to Saturday. Certain rentals may be available for partial stays. (Please call the office for detailed information.)
Off season rentals for most of our properties can be made with as few as two nights, although minimum night requirements may vary for holidays and special events. Monthly rentals are available October through March. Please call our office for details.
Rates & Payments
Prices are set according to location of unit, unit condition, number of bedrooms, and amenities offered within the unit. Rates are higher for holidays, special events, and weekends. Rates do not include tax, insurance and handling and processing fees. Holidays included are Christmas, Easter, New Year’s, Memorial Day, Fourth of July, Labor Day, Thanksgiving and Special Event weekends.
An initial payment equal to 50% of your total rental is due at time of rental for phone reservations. If this payment is not received, your reservation will be cancelled. Your balance is due at least one month (30 days) prior to your arrival, payable by an approved credit card or other certified funds. Checks are accepted if received at least a month prior to arrival but CANNOT be accepted at check-in. Contact our office if you need to make other payment arrangements with management’s approval. Returned checks will incur a $50 bank fee for each occurrence.
Online reservations require payment by an approved credit card at the time of booking. Upon receipt of payments, we will send written confirmation showing your vacation rental charges, reservation fee, vacation insurance, and South Carolina taxes. Security deposits and fees for any requested rental services or items (linens, mid-week cleaning, etc.) will also be shown.
We respect your privacy and keep your information completely confidential. We do not and will not share your information with anyone outside of our company. Of course, if required by law, court order, etc., we may be required to provide certain information to designated authorities and law enforcement officials in accordance with applicable law.
Your payment and personal information is always safe. Our Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) software is the industry standard and among the best software available today for secure e-commerce transactions. It encrypts all of your personal information, including the credit card number, name and address so that it cannot be read over the internet. We want to assure you that your privacy is a respected and an important issue throughout our organization.
We will be collecting a Damage Fee on all confirmed reservations. This one time non-refundable fee will cover damages to the unit up to $3000. Credit card account(s) provided will be used to cover the full cost of any unpaid balance, telephone charges, damages, replacement or repair of any damaged or missing items, or excessive cleaning requirements that we may deem necessary in accordance with the South Carolina Lodging Establishment Act.
We at Vacation Rentals of North Myrtle Beach want your beach or golf vacation to be as pleasant and worry free as possible. We automatically offer an Optional CSA Travel Insurance Policy with your reservation. For more details and information on your vacation insurance options and/or enhanced coverage, please call our office.
Cancellations & Charges
Confirmed reservations may be canceled or changed at any time by writing us. Reservations are non-transferrable. Upon confirmation, the unit is off the market; and therefore, the advance deposit will be refunded only if the unit is re-rented for the same period of time and paid in full. All payments are refunded less the reservation fee, vacation insurance premium and cancellation fee.
Groups & House Parties
House parties and groups with members under the age of 25 are prohibited. We rent to families and responsible adults only. More than the maximum occupancy in any unit is strictly prohibited. Absolutely no parties for fraternities, sororities, high school graduation, spring break from schools and universities, motorcycle, and any other groups are to be determined at the sole discretion of VRNMB. Parents must occupy the same property during the term of this agreement. Children will not be permitted to check-in without their parent(s). Any violation will result in termination of rental agreement and/or immediate eviction without refund of reservation deposit, rent, and security deposit as liquidated damages. Underaged alcohol and any drug use will be turned over to the authorities.
We have a limited number of homes that will allow pets and are noted as such in their listing information. In order to provide this service, certain rules must be followed. There is a limit of two (2) dogs for any pet-friendly home. A non-refundable $200 fee must be received at least 30 days prior to arrival. Dogs are not permitted on the furniture or beds. Absolutely NO PETS are permitted in properties not specified as pet-friendly. Pets in a non-pet property will be charged $250 for evidence of and/or damage caused by pets.
Pick up and return keys to the designated check-in office. There is a fee of $40 for lost, unreturned, or missing keys.
If you are locked out during our normal business hours, come by our office for another key. After hours, call our office and we will provide you with instructions on how to enter the property.
Some of our properties require pool tags. There is a fee of $50 for lost, unreturned, or missing pool tags. Additionally, if you are staying in the Barefoot Resort and request a pool card for the North Tower pool, we are required to hold a credit card on file and there is a $200 fee if pool card is not returned. Parking of campers, trailers, boats, and motorcycles are not allowed at some locations. Parking is limited to two cars at all condominium locations. If you have special parking needs, please contact our office.
Please follow all traffic laws and special regulations concerning the operation of this mode of transportation. Valid driver’s license required. Fireworks and grilling on balconies are illegal within city limits.
Our office will be happy to provide complimentary fax and copier usage. Mail and messages may be held at our office for your convenience. Long Distance phone calls will be charged to your credit card if calls are made on the homeowner’s telephone.
The City of North Myrtle Beach is in charge of beach services. Safety is the primary goal of this ordinance. The City is in charge of providing lifeguards, managing concessions and renting chairs and umbrellas to beach goers. There is a separate staff to operate concessions, which allows lifeguards to focus solely on protecting residents and visitors at the beach.
Construction in North Myrtle Beach and the surrounding area are expanding with new attractions and accommodations. We cannot make rate adjustments or rebates for inconvenience due to construction, road repair, etc.
Lost & Found
VRNMB is not responsible for personal items left in the property. Items found in properties that are not claimed with 14 days after departure will be donated to local charities. COD fees and a $25 service charge are required and will be billed to your credit card if you request us to package and return items left behind.
Furnishings and equipment are privately owned and furnished according to the owner’s taste. We can not be responsible for appliance breakdowns or for changes by owners in furnishings or equipment including internet access. We will make all efforts to have service restored as soon as possible. No refunds will be made for mechanical failure or no internet access. Sofa beds are recommended for children’s use only and not for adult use. Most units are non-smoking. Please make your request at reservation time. Kitchens are equipped with a refrigerator/freezer, range/oven, drip coffee maker, toaster, and sufficient tableware, glasses, cooking utensils, flatware, etc., for everyday cooking and dining. Most have a microwave over, dishwasher and either a washer and dryer or access to a common coin-operated laundry facility onsite. Additional items may be available according to the individual unit. Please feel free to bring your own personal kitchen items to accommodate your special cooking needs.
Refrigerators & Freezers
Prior to your arrival, these appliances may have been left open for a period of time during cleaning. It can take as long as 24-36 hours to fully recover to the proper temperature. Please be mindful of this prior to putting your groceries in the appliance. Please check your refrigerator upon arrival and have it set at a medium temperature. High temperature settings freeze the coils of the refrigerator and improperly cool down the appliance. When you place your food in the refrigerator or freezer, please keep the door closed for quicker cool down.
Prior to departure, guests are responsible for removing all items in the refrigerator and freezer, removal of trash, run the dishwasher and items put in their respective, original places, close and lock all windows and doors, leave the property in a secure and orderly condition. Departure maid service fee determined per property and at time of reservation. Daily and mid week maid service available upon request. Please call office for pricing.
Linens and towels are included in the Rental rate with VRNMB. Please specify how many people will be staying in the property. Blankets and pillows are provided in all units. Cribs, high chairs, rollaways, beach umbrellas and chairs, boogie boards, bicycles and more are available for rental from various rental companies. VRNMB will not be responsible for item condition or breakdown. Please call the office for information.
Please remember your camera, cooler, beach toys, golf clubs, hair dryer, fishing equipment, cleaning supplies, paper products, and any other item that will enhance your vacation to make your time comfortable in North Myrtle Beach.
Many owners have their personal items locked in a closet for their convenience and use. These areas are not included in any rental. Please do not attempt to open these locked closets. They are for HOMEOWNERS USE ONLY. If you break into the closet, your guest account will be charged for any repairs as well as missing items.
Maintenance & Housekeeping
If you should discover that your unit has not been cleaned or has damages, please report it to us immediately upon checking into the unit and we will make all efforts to resolve the problem. We will not issue refunds for mechanical breakdowns or unit cleanliness.
VRNMB personnel or representatives shall have the right to enter the property at reasonable hours to make timely repairs or inspections. If a service call is made and entry refused, the renter will be held liable for service call fees.
Our most important rule is that you have a comfortable and enjoyable vacation. If you enjoyed your vacation and would like reserve your unit for the following year, please call the office to confirm and secure your spot.
Please note confirmation of the tentative reservation is subject to establishment of rates, rental seasons, availability and other factors beyond the control of the agent. In the event that the unit cannot be occupied or is sold, VRNMB reserves the right to transfer reservations to a comparable unit or refund advance prepayment.
Every effort will be made to contact customer prior to arrival, however, we will not be responsible if customer cannot be contacted. Guest agrees to pay any difference in rental amount and not hold owner or agent liable for any, consequential or secondary damages.
Guest shall not be entitled to any refund due to unfavorable weather, maintenance problems, area construction, ready departure, or disruption of utility services (including phone and cable), after occupancy.
In the event of an ordered evacuation, due to hurricane or other storms refund consideration for the prorated amount of time from the ordered evacuation until the area is reopened, will be made following written request of same by tenant to agent.
