Beach, Boogie and BBQ Festival

Sept 1-2, 2017

The 12th annual Beach, Boogie and BBQ Festival will be held at the Horry-Georgetown Technical College Conference Center. This two-day event features live entertainment, food, arts and crafts vendors, a car show, and corn hole competition. Most importantly, over 25 BBQ teams will compete for $8,600 in cash and prizes, plus some serious bragging rights, at this official BBQ Championship of South Carolina sanctioned by the Kansas City Barbecue Society (KCBS). The festival will also host an event for the ‘250KCBS’ Meals Mission, where they will be donating around 30 cooked pork butts to a local food kitchen. Admission and parking are free.

Coastal Uncorked Food and Wine Festival

September 1-3, 2017

The 7th Annual Coastal Uncorked Food, Wine, and Spirits Festival will wrap up the summer season on Labor Day Weekend this September. This three-day festival will take place in the lot near Pavilion Park Central at Broadway at the Beach. Friday’s festivities include Chocolate Under the Moon, where local bartenders will compete to make the tastiest mixed drinks, while guests enjoy desserts and cocktails. On Saturday, enjoy samples from the country’s best craft breweries, as well as live music and food from local vendors at the Brews N’ the Beach event. Then on Sunday, visit the Grand Wine Tasting Tent for live music, Boar’s Head deli trays, and a sampling of wines from across the country. Tickets are $25 per day, or purchase a three-day pass for $70, plus fees. Non-drinking tickets are available for $10 per person, per day, and include food samples where available and complimentary water.

Myrtle Beach Mustang Week

September 4-8, 2017

Each year, hundreds of Mustang owners and enthusiasts visit the Grand Strand for one of the biggest car show events in Myrtle Beach. Mustang Week celebrates Ford’s most famous sports car with a variety of events, including meet and greets, cruise-ins, car shows, awards ceremonies, and drag nights at various locations, such as the Myrtle Beach Convention Center, Myrtle Beach Speedway, the Myrtle Beach Mall, and Ocean Boulevard.

Atalaya Arts and Crafts Festival

September 22-24, 2017

The Atalaya Arts and Crafts Festival is held annually in Atalaya Castle at Huntington Beach State Park, just south of Myrtle Beach. This unique event features live music, food, and over 100 fine artisans showcasing their wares. Admission to the festival is $10, and free for children age 15 and under.

25th Annual St. John’s Greek Festival

September 28 – October 1, 2017

Celebrate Greek culture and cuisine at the 25th annual St. John’s Greek Festival, featuring inflatables, live performances and music, craft and vendor tables, and church tours. Taste authentic Greek favorites like spanikopita, dolmathes, gyros, mousaka, and baklava, as well as Greek beer, Ouzo, and imported wines. Admission and parking are free.

14th Annual Irish Italian International Festival

September 30, 2017

The annual Irish Italian International Festival is a one-day, rain or shine event hosted by the City of North Myrtle Beach. Restaurants compete for the title of Best Entrée, Best Decorated, and Best Dessert, while visitors can take part in a friendly spaghetti eating competition. There will also be food from local restaurants, two stages of live entertainment, street performers, art and craft vendors, and a children’s area, all surrounding an Irish Italian International theme.

Myrtle Beach Seafood Festival

October 6-7, 2017

The Myrtle Beach Seafood Festival is back for the 2nd time, and will once again feature great seafood vendors serving up unique dishes. Head to Ocean Boulevard for delicious seafood, as well as a beer and wine garden, live music, a corn hole tournament, and kid-friendly activities.
